Why and how to get started in the greatest sport on the planet
PGA Professional, Amazon bestselling author, and lifelong student of the greatest game on the planet.
I love golf. I've played since I was 3 years old, have coached as a fully qualified PGA member since 1991, and still play competitively on the Swiss PGA Seniors Tour.
My book and project «Golf Yourself to Life» is the culmination of my passion for the game — a clear, simple and successful coaching methodology, skills in presenting and entertaining, the knowledge that I can inspire positive changes in people, and my deep love of nature, to which the project will donate.
Since 1991, I have coached doctors, lawyers, dentists, accountants, pop stars, architects, TV personalities and all manner of different professionals — as well as hundreds of retirees. I am privileged to have access to such widely differing and interesting people in my daily work.
But when they stand on the driving range mat, they are all human beings who have a desire to have fun playing the greatest game on the planet. It is often their escapism from a busy professional life, balanced between responsibilities for work and family. A chance to engage in something completely different.
"My role as a coach may be seen as delivering technical competence or mental strength. But really, if I'm doing my job properly, I deliver joy — both in the moment and in perpetuity."
Apparently golf and pole vaulting are the two most difficult sports on the planet. I'm glad I chose the former — there's a much lower risk of injury. Sure it's a challenge. Create speed in the club, aim the motion at a ball the size of a lime lying on the ground waiting for you, and send it in the right direction.
And it gets tougher if your brain has to decipher all the information thrown at you with endless YouTube videos and well-meaning advice on the driving range. Your leisure time is precious — you want to get to a level of proficiency and enjoyment as quickly as possible.
I understand golf start-up problems. My coaching philosophy is based on simplicity, logic and fun — building efficient, effective, powerful and injury-free motion that will set the foundations for now, and for your future, in golf.

To gain success and joy in this sport as quickly as possible, I give my clients a very clear and logical concept and picture of what they are trying to achieve — no jargon, no confusion.
I continually give visual feedback through video in both my 1:1 and online coaching sessions. Seeing is believing — and it accelerates improvement faster than anything else.
I use various practice techniques to find how each client best translates concept into personal feeling — and I do this all in a comfortable, light-hearted environment that I find key to accelerating the learning process.
Whether you want a private lesson, a golf trip, access to the video products, or just to read the book — there's a place to begin.
