Beautiful locations to start your journey into golf
Black Forest gateau! Of course. But Baden-Württemberg and our accommodation city of Basel have plenty to offer in gourmet food from both sides of the German-Swiss border. We go out of our way to find great restaurants to relax, wine and dine after a golf intensive day
Just 25 minutes from Basel in Switzerland, the golf club sits in the rolling hills of the Black Forest. Elevated panoramic views from various tees, an abundance of wildlife and a challenging 18 hole course make this one of the most sought after clubs in the region.
The modern practice facilities at GC Markgräflerland comprise an all-weather driving range and 4 short game practice areas. The clubhouse facilities include changing rooms, golf shop and a first class restaurant for coffee and lunch breaks during the day.
Equally as attractive as the winter sun and great golf is the food! We go out of our way to find the best local restaurants – fabulous Paella and an abundance of fine Tapas all washed down with a little Rioja or Ribera del Duero. Heaven.
1 hour from Alicante, the La Manga region has one of the driest climates in Europe during the winter months. I’ve been coming here every year since 2010. It’s great for my golfing groups and wonderful for the local restaurants!
The 4* Prince Phillipe hotel sits proudly in the middle of the resort – 3 golf courses, practice facilities and Spa. A leisurely 200m walk from the breakfast room brings you to the driving range and short game areas. A perfect winter location to start playing golf.
